2019 CrossFit Open Recap

Congratulations to all 70 of our members who registered for and completed the five weeks of CrossFit Open workouts. Thank you to all our competitors for their continued positivity and for making this another great year of The Open.

Thank you to all those who supported our competitors throughout the competition. Part of what makes The Open so special is the atmosphere for each heat.

A special thank you goes out to all our judges! Every athlete in every heat needs a judge. It can be a challenge to fill all those spots and we couldn’t do it without all our volunteers. Thank You!

Our Masters Qualifiers:

Congratulations to Suz, Janice & John P for advancing to the next stage of the CrossFit Games.

Suz finished 152nd in the 60+ division.

Janice finished 119th in the 45-49 division.

John finished 182nd in the 40-44 division.

The worldwide top 200 in each Masters age bracket qualify for the Age Group Online Qualifier. The qualifier is set up similar to The Open, where workouts are released on Thursday night and submissions due by Monday night. However, all the workouts are over one weekend. At the end of the Qualifier, only the top 10 in each division earn a spot to the CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin.

The qualifier workouts will be announced on Thursday, May 2nd at 8:00pm and must be completed and submitted by Monday, May 6th at 8:00pm.

Good Luck Suz, Janice & John!!!
