B Team

It’s that time of year again, AGAIN. The Crossfit Games Open season is here! That means it’s time for another B Team! For those that don’t know, years ago during one of the first opens, I started a small team of people that were NOT Rich Froning just to see how we stacked up against each other. There was one stipulation: whomever came in last place paid for wings and beer for the rest of the team after the open!

I am happy to say that it has always been a success and this year I’m sure this season will be no different! For our 9th B Team Season, we have three captains: Myself, Tony D and Blake. This past Wednesday night we drafted 3 Teams of 5 “athletes”. The last place team at the end will pay for the whole group to go out for beer and wings! The moral of the story: Try to win, and try harder NOT to lose!

Teams listed below. The rules are as follows:

1. Everyone performs the workouts RX

2. One and Done! No repeats

3. At the conclusion of the announcement every Thursday evening, captains will in secret “bench” one team member who’s score will not count for that workout that week. Every member will be benched only one time and the identity of the benched athletes will not be released until Monday night after scores are finalized.

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Don’t be a jerk. Don’t take yourself too seriously and HAVE SOME FUN!
